🤔 Recipe FAQs

What is crescent roll dough?

Crescent roll dough is a yeast-based, slightly sweet dough known for its soft texture and buttery flavor. The pre-made kind is sold in refrigerated, pop-open cans that hold triangular pieces of dough that are designed to be rolled into crescent shapes. (Remember when you needed to whack that can on the counter to open it? I vote for bringing that back!)

What is taco seasoning?

Taco seasoning is a combination of spices such as chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder and other sassy spices that give your taco meat that delicious flavor. You can find packets of pre-made taco seasoning in the international aisle of your supermarket, or you can use this recipe to make your own homemade taco seasoning – it is super easy!

Can this recipe be made ahead of time?

Nope, this is one that you need to make right before you serve it up so that things don’t get soggy.
