This simple recipe for easy homemade taco seasoning takes 5 minutes to put together and beats the packaged kind by a mile!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons oregano
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix all the spices together (adding the red pepper flakes if you want things extra spicy).
  2. Keep in an airtight jar – a baby mason jar works great for this!

Notes

      • Red Pepper Flakes: These are optional, and for when you want your taco seasoning on the spicier side. 🔥
      • Spices: All of these spices can be found in the baking or spice aisle of your supermarket. If you are using spices you already have, make sure they are still potent…spices usually are okay for 2 to 3 years. Give them a sniff or a small taste if you are not sure.
