Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and line two cookie sheets with nonstick foil or a silicone mat.
  2. Slice the baguette into ¼ inch thick slices and place the slices in a single layer on the cookie sheets.
  3. Brush each slice with a little olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle slices lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake until lightly golden, about 12 minutes, or longer if you like them a darker golden, 15-20 minutes.
  6. Cool and then keep in an airtight container (hello, super large mason jar!)
