This past weekend was full of so many exciting things. It was full of my variation on the classic breakfast wonder that is eggs Florentine, wherein I swap out the rich hollandaise sauce for some lighter but still creamy, dreamy goat cheese. It was also full of the Southern daughter’s bachelorette party. I have lots of info on the first item, and modest info on the second item, but what I have on both is delicious! Ready to lighten up your eggs Florentine? Let’s make it!
I am helpless in the face of a good breakfast sandwich, and also helpless in the face of a good grilled cheese sandwich, and you’d think that would be reason enough for me to figure out a way to put both of them together in a best-of-both-worlds breakfast grilled cheese sandwich. And yes, it was all I hoped and dreamed it would be. But there was another, even more important reason, and it’s all about friends. Ready to hear the reason, and to rock your breakfast world? Let’s make it!
I know, you are probably thinking does the world really need another recipe for avocado toast? Well, since avocados and toast are two of my very favorites, I wasn’t going to sit back and let the avocado toast world pass me by, but I wanted to add something special to the mix, and so I present to you my current breakfast crush: lemon avocado toast with poached egg. Creamy, dreamy, healthy, easy breakfast (or lunch!) deliciousness. Let’s make it!
We all know how I feel about bacon, and my love for bacon of course extends into all kinds of BLT sandwich love, but with this latest recipe for lobster BLT sandwiches with brie cheese, I think I may have found the love of my life, BLT-wise. In this sandwich, B stands for both bacon and Brie, and L stands for both lettuce and lobster. And LOVE, because that is how I felt about every creamy, crunchy bite! Ready for the BLT sandwich of your dreams? Let’s make it!
Here I present to you another case of not leaving well enough alone, because you KNOW I can’t help taking perfectly good recipes and mashing them up together. And I have to say, it doesn’t always work, but when it does work.., well, yum! And that was happily the case with these Caesar salad burgers. Your classic hamburger, covered not in ketchup and pickles but with a generous topping of Caesar salad and parmesan cheese.
Ready to shake up your burger, Caesar salad-style? Let’s make it!
This ready-in-20-minutes supper (yes you read that right) is one of my summertime favorites. It’s all kind of healthy, it involves the minimum amount of time in the kitchen when what you really want to be doing is enjoying the beautiful outside summertime, and most importantly, it is SCRUMPTIOUS. Tender flaky salmon, cheery asparagus, the bright flavor of lemon, all topped off with crunchy crispy breadcrumbs.
Ready for some salmon with toasted bread crumbs deliciousness? Let’s make it!
