This week’s meal planner includes a naughty recipe for Spiked Cheeseburgers and a creamy, dreamy Banana Cream Pie!
Hi friends! I hope it’s as gorgeous where you are as it is here in the Carolinas…we are all sunny and in the 70’s these days. Ahhhhhhhhhh! I have been warned repeatedly that this is just False Fall down here in the South, but I’ll take it!
Here is this week’s meal planner…and if you want my color commentary about why I picked these particular recipes, you can find it right underneath the recipe links below!
As always, we will be sharing another new menu next Saturday morning, full of dinners that feature seasonal ideas and ingredients (and dessert!)
And as usual, I’m not giving you a recipe for all seven days of the week, because I’m a firm believer in taking a day or two off from the kitchen. This will also give you the chance to work in some of your own favorites – or just do takeout!
You can always find our previous menus here, in case you want to mix things up! Have any questions about this week’s menu? Drop your question in the Comments section below and I will get back to you pronto! Happy cooking. 🥰

Tomorrow is National Cheeseburger Day, and while I think I could do a whole week’s menu with just my various ways to nosh on a cheeseburger, I’m going to control myself and just share one of my old faves, the Spiked Cheeseburger. Exactly what you think it is! 🍸
Next up, a comfort food Stovetop Chicken and Rice recipes in case there is a day this week where you just want something gentle that you can totally eat with a spoon.
More in a pasta kinda mood? I have a Pasta with Creamed Spinach Sauce that is velvety smooth and just might get them to eat their veggies along with their pasta.
With all the back to school and back to work action going on, I’m using my slow cooker on the regular, and this time I took inspiration from my Dad’s ever popular Coca Cola Ribs and cooked up a Coca Cola Pot Roast that cooks all by itself all day long. Hurray for supper being ready when you walk through the door!
This week’s light meal is Folded Breakfast Quesadillas (which can absolutely be eaten for lunch or supper) to help us celebrate National Quesadilla Day on the 25th. There is bacon involved, as there should be in any celebration.
