This week’s meal planner includes a recipe for two of our favorite pizzas and a creamy chicken stew that is a top ten reader fave!

Hi friends and welcome to the first week of fall!
We are still toasty warm around these parts, so as much as I am DYING to share some hot soup and meatloaf recipes, I put this menu together with the realization that just because the calendar says it’s fall and pumpkins are starting to pop up everywhere, it’s not quite frosty weather recipe season yet.

If you want some color commentary on why I picked what I picked, it’s underneath this week’s recipe line-up…but first, here come the meals I picked for you this week!
As usual, I’m not giving you a recipe for all seven days of the week, because I’m a firm believer in taking a day or two off from the kitchen. This will also give you the chance to work in some of your own favorites – or just do takeout!
And you can always find our previous menus here, in case you want to mix things up! Okay, here goes!

Main Meal One
Avocado Toast Pizza!
Love avocado toast? Then you are going to adore this easy recipe for avocado toast pizza with chopped tomato, cheese and a hint of lemon flavor! All the healthy goodness of avocado toast in a fun shareable supper.

Okay, here comes the color commentary!
October is (get ready) National Cookies, Pasta, Pizza and Apples Month. And this week I couldn’t resist giving you not one but two recipes for some, well, unusual pizza suppers!
Our first one is a (trust me on this) Avocado Toast Pizza. If you love avocado toast, this pizza is going to be your avocado dream come true.
Pizza Number Two might actually work just as well as a brunch treat as it does for supper, because I am talking Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Pizza. Think a loaded bagel, only in pizza form!
Next up, for National Pasta Month (thank goodness it is a month so I have more coming your way), check out our recipe for Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Pasta. Baby spinach plays the part of the lettuce, and we can’t get enough of this mash-up recipe.
More in a chicken comfort food kinda mood? Here comes one of the most popular Framed Cooks recipes, and that is our Creamy Chicken Stew. Packed with veggies and creamy dreamy flavor.
This week’s light meal is one that I have modestly titled The Best Easiest Chicken Noodle Soup Ever. I make it on the regular the second the temperature drops, because it keeps like a dream.
And for dessert, I decided to celebrate National Cookie Month with one of my absolute favorite cookie recipes. Blue Dory Cookies…they take only four ingredients, and one of them is chocolate. Happy sigh.
See you soon with another new recipe – until then, happy cooking!
