This week’s meal planner includes a recipe for Odds and Ends Macaroni and Cheese and some delectable No-Bake Rum Balls!
Well, we are in the last week of October, which not only means trick-or-treaters, but also is the end of National Pasta, Apple and Cookie Month. Sniffle. So I’m giving you a tasty recipe for each one of these to send you off in style.
If you want some color commentary on why I picked what I picked, it’s underneath this week’s recipe line-up…but first, here come the meals I picked for you this week!
As usual, I’m not giving you a recipe for all seven days of the week, because I’m a firm believer in taking a day or two off from the kitchen. This will also give you the chance to work in some of your own favorites – or just do takeout!
And you can always find our previous menus here, in case you want to mix things up! Okay, here goes!
Main Meal One
This easy recipe for odds and ends macaroni and cheese helps clean out your fridge while making a luscious creamy pasta supper at the same time!

What’s For Dessert?

Okay, here comes the color commentary!
Let’s start with the pasta! I love this recipe for Odds and Ends Macaroni and Cheese, which is not only creamy cheesy deliciousness, but also helps you clean out your fridge by mixing together all those bits and pieces of leftover cheese you have hanging around.
As for the cookies, I’m starting your holiday cooking baking list early with a recipe for sugary, delicate rum balls that require exactly zero baking.
Back at the main courses, my ode to seafood this week is a Brown Sugar Salmon that cooks up in a jiffy and is all kinds of easy elegance.
And last but definitely not least, I have a Slow Cooker Sweet Potato Chili that you pop in your Crock-Pot in the morning and when you come home from a busy day, dinner is READY. Oh, what a great feeling that is.
Happy cooking one and all!
